Sony VAIO® UX180P Micro PC VGN-UX180P

Not technically a UMPC, Sony is calling this device a MicroPC. the biggest difference is that, while this computer will run Windows XP, it won't use the special version created specifically for UMPCs.
This model will have a 4.5-inch WSVGA screen which is smaller than the standard UMPC and can slide up to expose a QWERTY keyboard. In addition, it will have Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and -- as if these weren't enough -- it be able to connect to Cingular's high-speed cellular-wireless EDGE network. It will have two cameras and a VGA adapter allowing it to be connected to a monitor or projector. A biometric fingerprint sensor will ensure that only authorized users gain access to the data stored on it.
This UMPC will come with a docking station with three USB 2.0 ports, an Ethernet port, a VGA port, and more.
The official price for this UMPC is $1,800.

In June of 2006, Averatec announced a tablet device with a 5-inch screen called the AHI and has a built-in keyboard. This can be hidden behind the SXGA (1280 x 1024 pixel) screen.
Technically, though, this won't really be a UMPC, as it won't run the version of Windows specially crafted for this class of devices. It will, however run the Tablet Edition of Windows XP.
Users of the AHI will have many connectivity options, as it will include Wi-Fi (802.11g), Bluetooth, Ethernet, and a modem. It will also sport two USB 2.0 slots, an SD/MMC card slot, and a 2 megapixel camera. When not being carried around, this computer can put put into a dock which includes a DVD player.

The Solo M1 will run the special version of Windows XP Tablet PC Edition that Microsoft has developed for UMPCs. It will include a low-voltage, 900 MHz Intel Celeron processor and 512 MB of RAM and a 30 MB hard drive.
